Activity

Menu → Activity lists what happened in the account, newest first, a day at a time:
  • The TV schedule: a reminder that came up, was confirmed, or that nobody confirmed; a message read; a show or slideshow that came on, or one skipped because the TV was off.
  • Changes to the schedule, and who made them.
  • Calls and drop-ins, by whom and for how long.
  • TVs and home agents paired or renamed, and an agent gone offline.
  • Sounds Readout’s screen heard, such as the doorbell.
  • The account: people joining or removed, and new passwords.
  • Signing in: your own sign-ins, which only you and the owner see.

Notifications

Menu → Notifications chooses what you’re told of, and how. Each person chooses for themselves.

On this device

A notification on the phone, even with the app closed.

By email

The same, to your email.

By text

Give your mobile number and type back the code it’s sent. Reply STOP to any of them to stop.
What can notify you includes a reminder nobody confirmed, a home agent gone offline, and a sound Readout’s screen heard.

Email that sets things off

Your account has an email address of its own. Rules for what’s sent there can flash the lights, say so on the TVs, or notify phones, so an email from someone who matters isn’t missed.
