With the home agent running, the household’s TVs can do things on their own, at the times you set. Open Menu → TV schedule, or Schedule at the top of the remote on a phone. Anyone in the account can change it.

Describe it in words

Type what you want, such as “Remind Dad to take his pills at 9 every morning, and ask him to press OK”, and Claude fills in the item for you to look over and add.

What it can put on the TV

It pops up over whatever is on (on an LG), or switches the TV to a full-screen reminder and back. With Ask whoever is watching to press OK, it stays until someone presses OK on the TV’s remote, and the app shows Confirmed with the time, or Not confirmed. It can flash the lights and chime. Full screen, it has a background for what it’s about: medication, a meal, sleep, an appointment, exercise, water or a call.
Who it’s from, what it says, and a photo beside it if you like, full screen on the TV. Send now puts it on the TV straight away. It can ask them to press OK once they’ve read it.
A channel the TV tunes itself, an app (opened at a show or video, if you paste its link), or an input such as a cable box. With an end time, the TV goes back to what was on, or turns off.
A photo album from your account, as a slideshow.
The time, big, with the day, the date and the weather.
A radio station on a TV or speaker, with captions if you like.
Turns the TV off at the time you set.
With a webcam on Readout’s screen, a drop-in at a set time, such as a check on someone each hour.

Seeing what happened

Day shows one day: what each item did on the TVs, and what’s next. Week and Month are calendars. All lists every item, each with a switch to pause it. Activity lists what the TVs did, such as a reminder nobody confirmed, and can notify your phone.
