Your email is your login name. Sign in once on each phone, tablet or computer you caption on. TVs and phones used as microphones never sign in: they join through a device that has.

A passkey, or a code

Menu → Account turns on either or both:
  • A passkey signs you in with your face, fingerprint or the device’s PIN, with no password.
  • Two-step sign-in asks for a code from an authenticator app after your password. Keep the recovery codes it gives you somewhere safe.

Forgot your password?

Tap Forgot your password? as you sign in, and a link to choose a new one goes to your email. It works once, for 30 minutes. With two-step sign-in on, it asks for a code too. The account’s owner can also give you a new password.

Where you’re signed in

Menu → Account → Where you’re signed in lists each device you’re signed in on, by browser and device, with when it was last used. Sign any of them out there, or all at once. A sign-in lasts 30 days from when it was last used. Changing your password signs you out everywhere else.
